Serve In the Community

Food Drives

FPLC is holding no-contact food drives. On Mondays (new day!) between the hours of 10 am-2 pm simply pull up to the church office, drop your donation in the large rolling carts and drive off!

Serentiy Inns & Alumni House

Serenity Inn's goal is to provide a safe place for men in Milwaukee to recover from their addiction to either drugs or alcohol.  FPLC volunteers provide a dinner to the residents 3 times a month. Eat with the men, drop dinner off or even order them a meal to be delivered by a restaurant! They are following COVID-19 protocols. For more information and/or to sign up click Make a Meal! A great activity to do with your middle/high school age youth so they can hear the anti-drug/alcohol message.

All Peoples Ministries

The staff and volunteers at All Peoples are working hard to develop new and creative ways of accomplishing their goals for community support. They have many tasks of various sizes to help with. The link below will take you direclty to their volunteer form.

Prevent Blindness-WI

In the past, Fox Point members have graciously brought in used eyeglasses and cases to be given to Prevent Blindness-WI.  In turn, PB-WI gives them to local organizations that conduct free vision screenings to those in the Milwaukee community who cannot afford more traditional screenings, exams and glasses.

From now until January 31, there will be a white bin just inside the front door of the church office.  You can deposit any used glasses or eyeglass cases (in good condition, please), and they will be redirected to Prevent Blindness.  This is a huge public service to those who desperately need glasses to improve their lives.  Thank you so much for taking the time to care!  If you have questions, please call Minna Smith at 414-852-1525.

The Gathering

Volunteers Are Back! The Gathering is committed to serving their guests, even during Covid-19. After working with the health department during the pandemic, they've changed their methods, but the goals are the help feed the hungry in body, mind, and spirit, they've adjusted our methods of sanitizing, preparing & distributing food to ensure we are being safe. THEY NEED YOUR HELP!

If you are healthy and willing, they'd love to have your help packaging bag lunches. Guests don't come into the building, and volunteer numbers are limited and spaced in a large hall.
